The garage read the fault but they can only assume its the squab. Its going to cost £400 to find out

Change garage, sound like a bunch of cowboys if they can only work with a computer telling them what to do. They should be able to manually check the wiring circuit and connections etc.

Well there's another problem. My closest fiat garage is 20miles away and they want £125 to read the fault. Tbh the guy on there service department didn't even know what a squab was. Took them 2 days to come back to me

Got a little bored with the bickering lol. Well I have since been told that £400 they quoted me was if it is the Squibb but there's no guarantee. I was just curious to see what the fault reads. I'll have a look on Google and try a get the bits from eBay or something

it was meant to enlighten you actually
but hey ho

Update. Fiat can't fix it !!! 8 weeks since this all started there unable to solve the problem. Had the ECU replaced, sensors etc and still no airbags. Unfortunately on Saturday she's being traded in for an Audi A3 as I can't keep throwing money at her. I really love the bravo but clearly fiat need to improve on there build quality and there dealerships!! So gutted she's got to go ?

but your post 4 explained the fault
why would dealer change things like ecu and what are these sensors you speak of,airbags dont have sensors

Hi all. Turns out I'm stuck with my bravo for a bit longer. Fiat changed the squab but was then unable to clear the fault. After numerous attempts they decided that the ECU was the issue. They can now clear the faults but when they do the car won't start. 3 months on and I'm still no closer to having it fixed. Any ideas as I'm lost what to do
