Hi Everyone!
Sorry if it had been asked many times before.
I am currently having issues with my 1.4 Multiair (198 A7 000) Bravo II (MY 2013), mileage: 140 k km/ 87.5 k miles.
It all started a couple of months ago with an ignition fault. (flashing engine light, running on 3 cylinders). I have been to several shops coils, sparkplugs were switched. ECU factory reset. But the issue doesn't seem to be solved.
I can still smell burnt oil and it's idling "rough" after a cold starts ( starts at an elevated 1,1 k rpm then it drops down to 750 after a few minutes).
My mechanic is telling me it's time for the Multiair module to be changed.
What he sees is that the sparkplugs get wet.
Is he right about it?
One more thing to add: the engine was accidentally filled up over the maximum level with engineoil on one occasion (right before the issues with the misfire's started)
Thank you for your help in advance.
