aftermarket sub and amp in grande

hi everyone, i have a grande punto 1.3 multijet gp. iv been given a mutant amp, though not sure which type, and a jbl gt5 1204br subwoofer. my car has only standard speakers, and no sub, the jbl is already boxed, which i will keep in boot. i have all the wiring kit, which was used with the sub and amp. anyone have ideas how to wire it? i have been searching other threads, but not sure where to start, and if i need anything else. i have done speaker upgrades before, but this is my first with a sub and amp.

Id start with a Line level converter if you have the standard head unit for pre outs and then wire it from there. I'll let the I.C.E. experts fill you in on the details

Just type in Grande Punto into the search im sure that a lot of things have been discussed before and you might learn a thing or 2 extra.
As has been said, unless you replace the Head Unit then you will need a line level converter but this may interfere with you standard speakers.
