Tuning Aftermarket cruise control, what is "in-line OBD" and do I even need it?

As the title says, I'm looking into getting cruise control fitted in my 2009 manual 1.2 Panda and a bit confused with the options on the product page, what is OBD data harness and do I need it since the 1st option says that it is not required since it lists 2003 to 2010 models?

It's a harness which plugs into your OBD socket, and prevents you needing to tinker with the wires to the back of the port to get your power etc.

I've not fitted it so I don't know what's required with the 2003-2010 cars.

I'm sure you could call and ask

You still need to splice into the power

But saves having to solder to the back of the OBDII

It's not obvious from the advert, but I assume it will only work on pandas with flyby wire throttle bodies
