After Market stereo install not working with Blue N Me???

Hello,
I have a Fiat 500 that I LOVE !!!!
We wanted to upgrade my stereo and just installed an Alpine CDE- HD 149BT . When I got the car back from the stereo installer my Blue N Me voice activation is not working, I do not hear the woman's voice, and I can't voice activate. In addition, my callers can not hear me, but I can hear them.
My phone says I am connected.
I am completely freaking out, as we purchased the harness that allowed for my steering controls to work. Anyone have this issue before?

You haven't ruined the car, it would work again with the OEM head unit refitted, but I don't believe its possible to have B&M working with an aftermarket head unit.

Some aftermarket units works with B&M and even wheel controls, but you need specific models with wiring (see Pioneer web site)

As cars have more features, it is more complicated to change one thing.
