Can anyone offer me any aadvice as to how to remove my old aerial base unit? My aerial snapped off and so I have bought a new mast and base unit from fiat but I cant seem to get my old base unit off and its driving me mad!!!!
Any help would be great.
thanks

there should be some instructions in the repair guide of this website, it basically involves removing the light inside the car (above your head)

ok thanks for your help.
I thought it was just ascrew from the top of the unit - that's what it looks like. But I am obviously wrong!!!
it looked too easy

Cheers

Take off the light on the roof.
Unscrew the bolt on the aerial base.
Push the aerial base from inside the car up.
Stuck in the new base and do the above in reverse.

It doesnt tell me that in my manual

to little plastic tabs cover two screws at the back of the unit, next to teh light switches

I have exactly the same problem, snapped off due to stapping surfboards to the roof.

How much was the replacement part?

Hi,

From my local fiat garage, the base unit was £12 and the mast was £5 so depending on what bit you need...
