The Aerial is rusted and broken do they still make then they are the type that a screw holds them in place remove the screw the aerial will come off. If they don't make them can a coat hanger be used to make up a replacement?

Also its the old cassette type radio that's in the car I am looking to replace with a Sony CD player/radio are the connections at the back of the radio compatible with the two block connections on the Sony?

Cheers Bill

Not sure if you can get them new still or not, but get replacement from a scrappies, or look for cars being broken on here and ebay, not sure if you mean the actual aerial or the base section but both can be replaced with either a original on or a generic one from halford or the like.

For stereo you will need a fiat to sony adaptor.

Thanks guys it's the aerial part itself a screw goes through the base and if you unscrew it the aerial can be manoeuvred take the screw out and the aerial should just detach as the screw goes through a fish eye at base part of the aerial if that makes sense?

I've looked on ebay but the aerials on there are not the right type.

Cheers Bill
