Hi, seem to be having a few problems with my Grande Punto i just bought. Firstly, the nearside rear brake light has failed and although i've changed the bulb it still doesnt work. Any ideas what it could be?

Secondly, i had an aftermarket stereo fitting which obvioulsy voids the steering wheel controls without the correct adapters. Any idea where i can get these adapters for a Kenwood stereo?

Third (and finally), the front badge is cracked/chipped. I was told i have to replace the full front grille. Is this true or can i get the badge seperate?

Someone please help!
Thanks in advance

Hi Steve,

Check the bulb connectors, there are a few people who have this exact issue. Never had to do it myself but looks like an easy fix. Have a search and i'm sure you'll find lots of threads related to this (y)

Ebay is your best bet for a steering wheel controls adapter. A quick search through this one up...

But you'll need to check your headunits model number

You do not need to replace the entire front grill, where did you hear this!? You will need to pull out the top grill, it can be quite firm but comes out with a good tug. The badge is bolted on. Unbolt the old badge, replace with a new one ;)

You've created 3 threads then said all your issues here in this one anyway. Why?! :p

But anyway, with the badge, I had an identical issue and decided to upgrade all my badges to the newer style while I was at it. I recommend Partsworld (you can get a full kit or just the one you want, old or new style; and they're the cheapest about).

Sorry i should of posted it all in one!

Brake light bulb now works, but nearside rear indicator light has now stopped working. Must be the connector. Connector does have a bit of rust on the pins, what would be best to use? Maybe a bit of wet and dry and some electrical contact cleaner?

Evans Halshaw funnily enough told me i had to change the full unit, clearly just couldn't be bothered to do it.

do a SEARCH in the GP section, common issue = may well be in the header section + the GUIDES,(y)
