Hi, the resistor pack on my wife's 500 has broken (fan only works on 4). There was a bit of a hot smell before it died, I think because the fan hadn't been used for a while, maybe it was a bit stiff?
Anyway, I've been able to reach up under the dash behind the pedals and remove the connector and the small screw. The resistor pack is loose but seems to be getting stuck on some other harness that is in the same area.
Is it possible to get the resistor pack out like this, or has the whole dash got to come apart (worried face). My only thought is that it might be possible to loosen the recirculation air duct thing somehow to allow a bit more wiggle room?
