Technical accelerator pedal problem

Have a 2013 ducato 2.3 150 bhp with a sticky accelerator pedal Ive been told to replace pedal complete as the sensor is probably faulty My question is Is the new pedal assembly plug and play or does it have to be programmed in and if so how is this done Cheers

That was good advice. My 2013 3.0L had the same issue. Very annoying sticky pedal. I complained about it but nothing was done. Then the unit failed and I was stuck on road. When recovered to workshop, the fault was the accelerator pedal unit. When it was replaced, no more sticky pedal and no problems.
Sorry can't advise as to "plug and play" as Fiat workshop did work under warranty.
Seems may be known fault - maybe push them for warranty, particularly if problem has been there since new like mine was.
