my abs light intermitantly comes on and I beleive cleaning the toothed rotors may help. Can someone explain how to do this ie: how to access them. many thanks in advance.

The rotors are just inboard of the brakes. Just give them a clean with a stiff brush.

its a 20v model. Do I need to remove disks to clean?

You should be able to reach behind them if you jack it up on full lock.
