Hi everyone my mot is coming up soon and my abs warning light is coming on intermittently sometimes when i drive over a bump etc. I know it will fail mot if still on Have had abs checked and working ok and after reading other posts i should be checking and cleaning sensors . Has any one got some diagrams of where they are and what to do Any help would be greatly appreciated Fiat marea weekend year 2000:)

Similar thing happened with mine. After advice i took the rear brake drums off and if you look the wheel bearing has what appears to be teeth on the outer edge. Above this is a small probe that sticks out. This is what i cleaned and problem solved.

Thanks for that what did you clean them with and are the sensors only at the rear i dont know that much about cars as you can tell

There will be sensors at the front and the rear. Check the gap between the sensor and the rotor. The front gap should be 0.645 - 1.305mm, the rear should be 0.06 - 1.18mm. These gaps cannot be adjusted by the way. To clean i just used some WD40 on a rag to clean them up.
