General ABS light

Still looking for a Weekend. Come across a 20v model, which is pretty ok aside from abs light on. Bloke says he has changed the sensor (whether the right one I dont know). Is there a common fault that I should be looking for, and what is the worst case scenario. Needs this for the MOT.

the light automatically goes off when the fault is fixed, so light on = fault not fixed yet.

Given your link, I think I will forget it!! Was only £500, 1998 model but not getting into £1000 parts replacements! thanks

could be cheap to fix but who knows....


only time i've ever got my ABS light on was doing 100mph into a chicane at Castle Combe circit, a little love poo popped out as the wheels locked up......
