Hi all
I have just had an abs fault light come on and when I plugged in my diagnostics it came up with right rear wheel speed sensor, I changed it and still showing same fault.
My vehicle is a 2014 Fiat Ducato based Motorhome.
I presume it’s a fault in the wiring loom but not sure best way forward to test this, any help would be very much appreciated

Rob

Inspect the wiring from the abs sensor working from back to front of vehicle

In general it is often not the sensor but the toothed reluctor ring. They can crac or rust.

It is easy to test the sensor. Put your meter into OHMS function at the sensor pickup and at the end of the first join in the cable as it joins the loom or Abs circuit. If it shows an open circuit reading it's OK.

I think this model has a magnetic encoder ring rather than a metal toothed ring on the hub.

I fitted a new sensor and think it’s not a toothed ring but a magnetic one
