Technical abs ecu

Anyone know how to replace abs ecu on a marea 20v. Just had diagnostic done and was told I needed a new one. Nearly £700 from fiat dealership!! Therefore will get mine repaired and do it myself hopefully.

I'm not sure if you have to balance the abs after changing the controller? That is really a specialist job.

do you need to balance the controller if your only changing the ecu?

I don't know what settings, if any, are stored in the ecu.

i think you'll find the airbag system is completely seperate
