Technical abarth backbox on diesel

hi everyone, at the weekend i bought an abarth back-box for my 1.3m jet. i can get it fitted, but before i do, i was wondering will it affect back pressure performance? my pipe size is 44mm and the abarths is 55mm.

Pretty much none, as you are only changing the backbox therefore the rest of the exhaust is still restrictive....

there a pretty long pipe coming from back box going half way to cat as well, is it worth cutting that back to the backbox then?
also - iv just been let down, and can't get it fitted, so going to try myself, how can i go about the 11mm gap between pipe sizes?

take it to an exhaust fitter.... tbh it would have been a lot cheaper to have had a custom backbox made up, would have been better too

i think that is what im going to have to do. probs will be pricy to fit .

Or an exhaust reducer, try ebay once you know both internal diameters. Alternatively your local custom exhaust guy may be able to do it for you for a reasonable cost.
