It doesnt rattle. Shame he has sold the rest of the car or we could have got more parts from him. All he has left are the doors (three door) and the bonnet in Nero Moire. If anyone needs those let me know and Ill give you the link to the seller.

Update. The cat is on, the manifold is bent back into shape and back on so thats a saving of £2000. All we need now is a radiator and aircon radiator. We bought a fan and panel on ebay from a 1.9 which we are hoping will fit. Also lots of various bits of plastic which cost stupid prices from Fiat so we will keep an eye out for breakers and do it gradually. The bumper is going to be repaired.

Should be able to get £50 for the old cat too and the second hand one was only £80.

Meanwhile, picked up a 53 plate 1.2 three door in Bordeaux Rose today. Bargain at £600. He is going to drive it around until his is fixed, saving a lot of money on tax, insurance and petrol, and when his is all done, the 1.2 will go to my 18 year old. So everyone is happy, especially me as I am no longer sharing my car :)

So this recent addition will be our 5th Stilo(y)

As far as I can see from ePER there's two types of Stilo radiators. One with both inlet and outlet pipes on the same side and one with them on opposute sides of the radiator. Check the position of the inlet and outlet of yours but it appears that the radiator is the same for all 1.6 (with A/C), 1.8, 1.9 and 2.4 versions. Part number should be 46745809. There's a new genuine Fiat one on eBay for £45.00 here:

Or a pattern one for £55.00 here:

The A/C radiator (condenser) appears to be the same part number (46745840) for all Stilos.

Car is all back in one piece and working. EXCEPT. The fans inside are not blowing. Does anyone have any idea what may be the cause ?

Thanks for that but it doesnt have a speed 4, its climate control, would this make a difference? Checked all the fuses in the car. What is a resistor pack? Also, the air con gas needs to be refilled as we replaced the aircon radiator and fan.

The heater and A/c fan gets power via fuse F8 (30A) and relay T8, both in the engine compartment fuse box and fuse 31 (7.5A) in the dashboard fuse box.

The ECU that controls the climate control also needs power from fuse 39 (10A) and possibly fuse 49 (7.5A), both in the dashboard fuse box.

If all 4 fuses are OK, check if relay T8 clicks when you switch the ignition on. There should be a diagram moulded into the back of the battery cover to show which relay is T8.

Davren you are a GENIUS! It was a 7.5a in the dashboard fuse box. Its now all working, its the happiest I have seen my son since he crashed the damned car. Ready to be taxed insured and back on the road now. Thank you SOOOO much :):) I owe you a drink mate:D It was turning into a real money pit, we even bought some parts from Fiat that we didnt need in the end and they refused to refund. He was thinking this was going to be more expense and it was just a fuse.:)
