Hi all,
So there I was, driving down the M5 this morning trying to get home before the rugby kicked off and then my 'boot open' light comes on the dash, followed by the outside temperature indicator varying every second ranging between -17 (with the corresponding frost warning icon and message) and the expected actual temperature of 8c, as well as the 'check LHS sidelight' message. I should probably also mention the 'City' driving mode, the one that makes your steering lighter, has stopped working too and I can't turn it back on using the button....
It's the first time it's happened, although admittedly for many months the car has been hit and miss at starting first time (albeit it sounds like it's ticking over fine, sometimes a small puff of black some comes out the exhaust).
It's in for it's MOT next month, so I'm especially keen to get to investigate whether this is something to be concerned with and if anyone else has experienced anything remotely similar.
Any ideas or assistance is very much appreciated!!
Thanks
Chris
