At out garage we're close to buying a machine that straightens buckled alloys and smooths off all the nasty curbed bits..

so basically if you curb your car at 30mph+ and buckle it, it is repairable.

Would any of you be interested in using this machine and what is the availablility in your area?

Thanks, alex

i think people would use it so lonk as it was priced right, at the and of the day a new wheel will only be £100ish. have you looked up what others charge to see if you could be competitive?

atm there is no other company in our area that can straighten a bent wheel

To be honest i doubt a machine could repair and guarantee a buckled wheel. If you bend something and bend it back you make the material considerably softer.

As for taking off the scratched curb damage on alloys then, how does this machine paint them too?

I wouldn't touch this machine even if it was free.

This is my opinion though mate, plenty of silly people out there who would.

i'd only use it if i was selling the wheels, as i'm pretty sure they'd still not be structurally sound. the smallest pothole would probably buckle it again anyway! AND mine would need repainted!

It is and can definately be done, the machine must be reasonabley good at 4k, we will look into it, ill let u know how it goes

I would be willing to send you my alloys, have the work done FOC (I would pay for pastage obviously), then i could do a impartial write up for BOO. ;)

Would be great promotion for you :)

but have you seen the state of my rims
