Hmm - depends how reliable the fingerprint thingy is.
Also it doesn't specify how the data is secured. If its unencrypted it might be possible to disassemble the drive, take out the flash memory and read it back in another drive.
I'm sticking with my Kingston Datatraveler Secure Privacy Edition for now (256bit AES).

Not sure. Just though of it as more of a 'look at my new toy' thing :p

I've only just (back in the summer) upgraded from my 128mb stick to a 8gb Kingston Datatraveler :p
 
sounds a good idea. i have a biometric fingerprint reader bilt into my laptop it works really well there are ways round it though

Oh cool. I looked at a laptop with one of those, but didn't get it in the end. Went for another.

Who accurate is it? My laptops got face recognition, but is **** at it. Does biometrics have a high fail rate?

So what are the ways around it then :confused:

its pretty accurate tbf.

you can brute force it and if you dont set it up properly you can log in as a guest with administrator privilages
