The problem here is some people assume it'll be an easy job so go about it half assed, get annoyed and eventually break something.
Take your time, make sure you've got enough time, arm yourself with the correct tools and enjoy! It took me about 1.5 hours all in, I could do it quicker next time as I know the best techniques for a speedy bulb change now.
Unless you're driving your JTD without an intercooler then I can't see it.
Even with liner and battery cage removed (which admittedly does provide a lot more access) you'll still find restricted removal of the cap due to position of intercooler and support bracket for the wing.
Perhaps there are slight model variations between JTDs :chin:
