Technical A few questions about the Uno Turbo.

Hi,
my name is Olle, I'm from Finland. (First thread here...)

I've recently bought a Fiat Uno Turbo i.e -89 as i felt I needed something to do in my spare time. The car was in pretty bad shape when I got it, I'll now restore it a bit, and perhaps tune it..

Now I have some questions, I hope you understand, some technical terms can be quite hard for me in english.

1) What's the compression ratio?
2) What kind of turbo does my car have? (Manufacturer, size)
3) What's the turbo pressure? 0,5 bar?
4) And finally, which turbo would you recommend if I'd like to get, lets say 150hp?

I've got an turbo from an Audi A4 1,8T, maybe that one would be OK?

1. The CR is very low: 7.7
2. You have a IHI rhb5 vl2 or vl3 130hp is the limit for this turbo..
3. 0.5-0.6 bar..
4. why not give it a try with your 1.8t turbo, Is it a kkk 03?

im sure the audi turbo will fit with a few choice modifications. plus it'll allow more boost and will enable you to get to your desired 150bhp.

Yep, it is a Mk1. I also drive a BMW, but I'm done rebuilding that one..

I'll try to take some photos someday, the problem is finding time for it as I'm always doing something funnier with the car.

I just remembered that I had another question, what does the letters "i.e. stand for in the "Fiat Uno Turbo i.e"???

I've tried searching the web but I can't find anything on that. Not that it really matters, but nevertheless interesting to know...
