a couple of problems I have

The fone system is getting on my tits, sometimes it connects sometimes it doesnt, it was fine for 8 months but has started playing up this week. when it does connect and I get a call the car diesnt ring, when I answer the call there is often a 10 second delay between me pressing answer and the persons voice comming through ( by this time they have normally hung up lol )

and also, when I turn the car on I get the display "media player" even when nothing is plugged into the usb sockets???

the car is due for a service in 3000 miles, would it be right to ask them to install an update with the service or will thay charge me for it?

all this is on a 1.9 JTD Grande Punto Sporting

I assume your car is under warranty still ? if it is get the guy's at your local dealer to reset the unit and then if they can update it.

I have had a few car's now with random blue and me prob's but carrying out a reset with the examiner sort's them out ( ive not had any back yet, well that i know of )

Hi,
Can't help with the first part of your problem, but to stop the system automatically going to media player on start up - plug in your usb stick and start engine, press voice command on steering wheel and say "stop media" the computer should respond with "media stopped". Remove usb stick and you should not get the media player the next time you start the car
