Technical A/C Propellant

My A/Cs seem to need topping up every summer on all the cars and i service it along with the cabin filter every summer and sometimes winter too. The amount of air that goes through the cabin filter is huge so it gets well clogged and just taking it out and beating it regularly does the world of good as does spraying some disinfectant in there too
I'm recharging my aircon on the Stilo and I am curious to know how to remove the "cabin filter" or does one have to remove the complete unit?
Thanks

Hi, 🙂

This post is 15 years old.. 😊

Most FIAT units use a panel somewhere in the Air intake

SEARCH on here is pretty good😉

Be very gentle as all bits of plastic trim, clips, brackets, slides, guides, holders etc will be as brittle as thin glass, especially if they haven't been disturbed in quite a while. Maybe gently heating with a hot air gun will stop some of the damage .
