Lately the a/c in my 2008 lounge has not been blowing out of the face and (I think) windscreen vents. All the air seems to exit into the footwell. I thought it may have something to do with the pollen filter so I pulled this out and although not perfect it's still in OK shape. Even if it was blocked this wouldn't explain why air could still exit via the footwell.

Have replaced filter and made sure the cover is correctly fitted. Still no joy.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's more likely to be the linkage that activates the flaps that direct the air not working correctly than a blockage.

Auto climate, or manual A/C (with knobs that you turn)?
It's a climate control unit. My theory is that either one of the dampers has jammed up or that the motor that activates it has either failed or has a dodgy connection somewhere. I managed to get it working for a couple of days earlier in the week by putting the fan on full and cycling through various vent/outlet combinations. I though I had it sorted but now I'm back to cold feet & a hot head and that's bad news for summer driving...

Thanks for the responses so far.
