**** a brick!

Hi all, at one point or another all you boys with lots of knowledge have helped me with something whether it be with with my ice or just general repairs. well over the weekend i was almost a gonner. for all you lot that are soon to be installing your ice DO NOT run the cable underneath the car, i thought the other day seen as im setting up all my ice properly il re-run it now in the place where everyone said it was safer through the grommit in the passenger footwell so i disconnected the power cable from the amp and uncliped it were i could reach to under the car andthen pulled it up through the bay when SPARKS and POP! i got the cable out and it had worn right through looked at the fuse which was destroyed in the holder. so now everything is run properly and im thanking my lucky stars that im still here.

also boys i cant remember who posted it but i saw on a post here a few weeks ago on a posted pic of their car that had covered the fuse box with fabric and other bit. i want this done but am **** scared about doing my self as i want a really good finish so i was wondering is it easy to do and if not what type of prices would you suggest are good from the proper people in my area people like sextons, optima.

you unplugged it from the amp,
but you didnt unplug it from the battery first!!!!!!

heh. I NEARLY made the same mistake.

I stopped, thought about it for 30 seconds, then unplugged it from the battery (when changing my sound system from one Bravo to another )

I'm gussing that it was Daz155HGT's interior that you have seen done in the tan suede. Should be pretty straight forward with some good material and some strong spray glue. Should be easier than doing your door cards!

Daz did you cover the back of the fuse box and glove box, if not what stops the material peeling off at the edges ( or is it folded over and stuck, that would look rank when the glove box is opened eh!)
