Technical 769cc dwell angle

evening to all..been tinkering with the mania today.thought id check timing etc.the haynes manual says 1 thing and online says another.i was wondering to what peope have set their dwell angle to? mines a 92 750 mania.i set it roughly inbetween what my haynes manual says at around 58 degrees.

When i had points, iirc i was aiming inbetween 54-58 as my meter is analog.

i have a 91 750L, i also set mine to the haynes manual at around 56. What are you seeing online is much different from the manual

theres not loads of difference but enough to make a difference in running perhaps.i got 53+/-2 degrees from online haynes then in the haynes manual for 92 and onwards pandas it says 57 to 61 degrees.i have an older haynes manual for 750 somewhere that im trying to find to see what that says.
