Had the coolant pipe replaced at a garage and there has been a leak on the joint between the coolant pipe and the rubber radiator hose, been back to the garage 3 times, changed jubilee clip etc and still have a leak. I'm thinking the next logical change is the rubber hose but it's there something I'm missing

Hi.

To get a great seal, from rubber to metal..

Use a plumbers sealant paste, like
EvoStik PlumbersMait

Screwfix will sell it 🙂
And B&Q, etc
It's about £5

Just undo the clip, wriggle the hose off,
( catching the COLD coolant in a bowl 😉)

wipe both the hose inner and metal tube outer, dry

Add the paste, twist the hose back on, then re tighten the hose clamp

Then refill with your coolant 😊
