General 4x4 2 month challange

One of the last big pushes this weekend, I have spent an age rebuilding the brakes but still had no lines, on removal of the rear slaves they sheared and the front flexys were dead as well as the lines looking nasty.

So this weekend I finished off the car transporter, needs more work!
hooked the panda up to last months project

Took it to a nice warm place to work on with much much larger equipment

and cracked on with the task of running new rear lines, a new center line, new lines for.... well, we did every bloody line!

took about 3 hours in total to flange, bend, fit.. and then a hour to bleed the system as it just didnt want to play!

end result, I have very good working brakes :)

Project is now on hold however due to a family issue so no spanner time for the next few weeks.

Oh god I am in love with this car (n)

Why the sad face lol, and thanks for the kind words, im doing what I can, and trying to do it to the best standards.
The car will look great mechanically but pretty ruff in the flesh. Body shops are quoting 2.5k over the phone and thats 1k more than I expected with me delivering a pre stripped shell.

Because its not on my driveway :ROFLMAO:

I've never been in touch with a bodyshop, but was thinking of getting my doors repaired properly at some point, that sounds quite expensive!

long time no update, we all know the score, weather, life, work - they are all enemies of the project car.

Snag list addressed this week.

Battery secure - made my own bar clamp thingy
Handbrake warning light - Switch faulty
Windscreen washers not working - Rear MIA front bad connections
Rear windscreen wiper/front wiper - Issue with fuse box
Brake fluid low indicater broken - swapped out
Interior light broken - bad old connections

Also bleed the brakes again, refurbed the rear wheels, fitted the new front flexy lines and made a couple of securing brackets as the old ones were dust.

Trim wise - refit,

I have also put the exhaust on all of its hangers, re applied under-seal and bought a new wiper.

Its insured and now ready for its MOT bar one item

I need a engine bay cloth/rubber any type of firewall/sound insulation, the one that the drain tubes pass though and raps about the heater matrix.

If any one has a complete none half eaten one and can get it out to me ASAP id love you forever, its the last item as with out this I cannot secure my fusebox.
