My 'new' Bravo is now nearly 3 years old so needing a full service and MOT
this thread will record the journey in getting this sorted.
I want Selenia oil and a coolant change.
I also need some front discs and pads fitted (that i have under my desk)

Lots of places too busy to take the call so waiting on callbacks...

Prices:

Wilsons (main) £342. Coolant additional £60. Fit brakes £180. MOT £55
AlfaAid (indy) £290. Brake bleed £15, Coolant test. MOT £55 + brake£?
AHM (indy) £342. Coolant additional £30. Fit Brakes £100 MOT arranged £60
Thames (main) £240. GoldService +£68 brake fluid +£136 fit brakes +coolant? MOT£55

so circa £500 all in across the board

Thames get the business as local and main dealer
booked in a week before the warranty expires in case anything needs doing under warranty...

I got my Bravo from Thames. They were pretty poor I found.

They told me all service items had been attended to however I found out the brake fluid hadn't been changed which is meant to be done every 2 years according to the manual. Not a big deal but poor attention to detail in the workshop I would suggest. They did send me a cheque to cover costs though.

It looked as though they had just run it through the Tesco car wash too as it took me many hours to get it cleaned up properly. A dealer will usually supply properly valeted, at least they always have done before.

thanks for the heads up on Thames, have dealt with them before (y)

Also just saw your comment about the brake fluid change being £68. When I got mine done (SGM Southampton) who are also a dealer they charged £30 so £68 seems steep especially as they are carrying out a full service for you.

Out of interest what mileage have you managed from your front pads? Mine were done at 37,000. I know this is complete down to use and the driver but it's always interesting to hear. My discs were also badly lipped so needed replacing as well. All in was £198.
