Hello,

Hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on this...

I've got a couple of issue with my car (Fiat Punto Grande), the Blue & Me microphone has become faulty for the second time (I brought this car brand new from a Fiat dealer in December 2009)

Now the second issue is, there seems to be a knocking sound coming from the front left side when I drive over bumpy ground.

Anyway I've phone Fiat who happily booked my car in for a warranty repair, until I received a phone call today explaining that because my car has been in for a service yet (due December 2010) they are unable to carry out the repair under warranty.

Could anyone explain whether this is correct or not?

Regards
Mike.

To retain dealer warranty your car must be serviced according to manufacturer schedule. Which is every 18000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first. They allow lee way of +\- 30 days and you've clearly passed that. So can fully understand why your warranty is void. All this is stated in owners manual/service book. You can't expect a warranty to be honoured if you don't maintain your car according to the book
