i thinking of updating my rockford fosgate 12incher to 2 audiobahn 12inchers! any one know how good they r! they look amazin i was thinkin of havin one the normal way n the other ass out showin off the silver flames with a blue neone to set it off! is it worth doin n what would be the best way to have these in a double box 2 single boxes or a custom box!

i have 2...

first of all forget the bling bling reverse mount.... all though it may look the swingers... it will sound rubbish trust me!

in terms of reliablity.. i had 2 400watts rms subs they sounded ok... i wanted to test them in a way only i would! ;) so i bridged it on a 800watts RMS amp to each sub!! it ran like that for about a week.. i use my car every day, at the loudest setting.. it sounded amazing... and they put up with that punishment for a few weeks before the voice coil popped lol... which is quite good compared to others ive 'tested' :)

to i binned those in favour of 2x 700watts rms Audiobahn subs with a 800watt Audiobahn amp to power each. shakes my sei to bits and noone wants to sit in the back :)

the only thing is that you really need to make the boxes to the required volume.. i cant because i dont have the room, or they would sound even better.

i have changed it since that pic to proper box setup...

so the bling way sounds rubbish!? i was goin for one ass out n the otehr normal u think that would b ok?
n thats cool i just wanted to know how they sound cause i have a rockford sub now but fancied somthin new! the subs iv seen r 800watts max so they should b cool with an audiobahn amp!

preapare to get your wallet out!! for an amp per sub (so 2 subs and 2 amps which is the better set up) you wont get much change out of 400-500 quid for stuff like mine...

i wouldnt even think bout the bing way really!.... its a waste of a sub tbh in a punto atleast you will have extra room to make boxes... ill be so gealous! :( lol most of their amps have a sexy blue back light too... so you might wanna think bout where you can put the amps so its on show... all their stuff is chrome so think about that when you are building enclosures. covered in black looks good i think...

theres only one thing to bear in mind.... theres other stuff out there that sounds clearer out there for sure.... but if your looking to have a **** load of bass pounds£/RMS you cant do much better....

people will disagree with me... this is just from my experience

yeah sounds good to me mate n iv bin lookin in the states n u can pick up two subs plus amp with all wireing for $180 but not a clue on postage i have enquired ill see what they do if not i might leave the audiobahn amp cause they r a bomb!
n i know it will look good in my boot just gotta build it thats all not a clue how to go about it!?!

apart from anything else it will be more individual than the usual splx kenwood pioneer etc! lol

if your going for 2x12's it will look amazing in a punto! more room than a cento :(

if your going for masses of bass! then have one amp per sub! mono amps is the way forward! 800watts all one one channel! phooooah! lol

theres subs that will do 2000watts rms (quoted) in reality probaly not that much! you can bet it will be somewhere near tho (enough to make your brain leak lmao)... bear in mind to budget for an equvalent amp!

depends what music you like! if your into Hip Hop and R N B then you dont need subs with a good response time! so u can get the biger subs altho audioband are comp. subs so there for are best for rumbly bass! as you need vibration more than ull need sound!

these subs are good quality altho quite expensive for what you are going to pay for them you could easily buy subs that fit our music type better!
