I've ordered a 2022 LHD Ducato based campervan from. France. It's nicely specced including full LED headlights with LED DRLs.

Does anyone know if its possible to adjust these headlights for driving in the UK (so it passes the IVA??)

I've seen elsewhere that these LEDs have quite a flat beam and also seen mention of a 'neutral' beam pattern (whatever that means) but cant find a definitivec nswer to their adjustability for driving on the left ( or back again if on holiday in Europe).

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Ian

On 2019 (halogen + drl led) it was:
Byte 76: 20
Byte 134: 20
and worked properly with full led headlights, but with errors on dashboard for drl and signals(resolvable with 21w resistors)

I've changed to:
Byte 76: A8
Byte 134: A0
working properly, but still have errors on drl:
B1078-96
B1077-96
Component internal failure.

Can someone help us with custom proxy values from a 2021+ with full led headlights?

finally full working:

Byte 76: 28
Byte 134: 20

without any errors, please find bellow my proxy:

30 38 32 35 30 34 30 38 32 32 36 4F 55 54 50 55 54 44 4A 49 54 20 19 09 26 4B 1C 40 44 00 00 00 00 09 04 00 04 10 00 00 00 C3 45 71 08 B1 C0 7C 20 00 20 00 16 00 00 00 9C 06 0B 03 60 C0 11 D6 04 05 00 05 04 00 00 00 00 56 00 28 00 00 36 00 D1 03 11 32 00 AB 00 AD 00 A0 29 00 06 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 07 00 10 00 00 00 00 84 10 00 00 00 00 00 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00 A0 00 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 09 00 00 1F 00 00 08 20 00 02 FF

I didn't find an option for front turn signal Led. I have just to choose between 21w and 27w. Same for mirrors: 5w or 16w. I tried also other proxy values, work ok just using resistors. I am ok using resistors. On 2019 I use 21w Osram resistors. +12v turn signal: left Blue/White, right Blue/Black. Fyi: for 2019 with alfaobd need to select x250 facelift BCM. For the rest of modules work with x290.

On Ducato 2017 full led headlights working properly after changing 2 bytes on positions 76 and 134 in MES.

First of all Ctrl+alt+c and backup all values (select all copy and paste in a notepad txt file)

Byte 76 - change value to A8
Byte 134 - change value to A0

Then run proxi alignment procedure.

Working properly with halogen + LED daylight headlights, same full led headlights.

Single difference is that for full led headlights need 21w resistors on the signals wires to not receive signal bulb warning.
I tried and no coding needed, they work straight out of the box!!!!!!!!

I fully tested them. I can confirm that for the new ducato led headlights there is no need for resistors or programming. The are plug and play and they work straight out of the box in my 2015 fiat ducato.

no resistors no programming just fitting the full led headlights and they work perfectly.

just to clarify that when daytime lights are on:

1) if you have left turn signal on the left daylight shuts off until left turn signal shuts off, right daylight stays on
2) if you have right turn signal on the right daylight shuts off until right turn signal shuts off, left daylight stays on
3) if you have alarm signal on both daylights shut off until alarm signal shuts off

I think this is a normal function just not to confuse turn signals with the daylight
Could anyone with 2021+ ducato with full led headlights confirm that this is a normal function?

No idea if in a Ducato, but this is 100% normal in other cars, so I assume it should be the same in the Ducato.

So I assume also this is normal:

3) if you have alarm signal on both daylights shut off until alarm signal shuts off

As you wrote, not to confuse people. It's the same strip, if it would just change color, it would be much less visible than the standard indicator going on / off.

Hi, I'm glad they worked for you. It's a great update. I wanted to know if your 2015 Ducato already had LED daytime running lights or if they were halogen? Best regards and thanks.

Very interesting, because on my 2015 woth drl halogen didn't work by default parking light and had errors on drl. On 2019 with led drl had drl error. Worked after custom proxy setup. I'll check the signals without resistors.

Btw, did you scan BCM for errors?

i did not scan BCM for error but should not be any errors because full LED headlights do work perfectly without any problems including daytime and turn signal strips.

My 2015 Ducato originally had classic headlights. I upgraded to partially led and daytime led were flashing when engine on.
I never bothered to program BCM for partally led headlights to rectify the issue and never used resistors either.
However with the new full LED headlights everything works perfectly.

So maybe try to remove he resistors and see how it goes.
My guess is that Full LED headlights would work without any modifications like in my 2015 Ducato.
Maybe resistors are causing problems to the new Full led headlights.

I've tried also without resistors and receive error when turn signals. But can be a difference from the mirrors signal bulb 5w vs 16w. If you have 16w this can be the no errors reason. I had 5w bulb and i've replaced with 5w led canbus. I guess that have value under 5w and if i try to combine with 21w led canbus for rear taillight i receive error. Also this 21w led canbus looks like have under 21w. With 5w led canbus mirror signals and full led headlights with 21w resistors or regular bulb 21w + 21w bulb rear everything is ok. For the moment i'm fine like this.
