Hi can anybody help or anybody had the same problem, on my way home from france, The driver mode switch has stopped working and the D for drive light
has also stopped working, but gearbox is okay, any ideas what could be wrong, iam thinking so sort of sensor

Nobody can tell for sure. You need to have it scanned for faults. Check the multiecuscan list for somebody nearby

When my 2021 van was almost new I got an error code for a sensor connected to the DPF. At the same time the driving mode and the Start and Stop where both unavailable. This is a safety precaution, the engine is supposed to be driven as "standard" as possible untill the original problem is solved.
Maybe something similar with yours.
