It's been years since I have been on here. Nice to see you are all still going strong. :slayer:

I have a 2017 Peugeot Boxer 2.0 HDI. It's a customers vehicle (a relative, which makes it much worse) which I have converted into a camper. It only has 22k miles.

When I collected it (last year) after around 100 miles the Adblue warning appeared with a EML light. These cleared and it stayed off for a few days. Then it became more common and eventually the EML would not clear.

Codes that reappear instantly after a clear (engine off) are commonly:

U029E DeNOx system - Component detected not communicating on the emissions network
U029D As above
U1113 ABS or ESP ECU - No communication

After I start the engine additional codes quickly appear including:

U0074 Intersystems CAN
and a growing number of U029E codes

After using the van for a few days (or just regularly starting the engine) more and more codes appear including:

P20E8 Pressure of the urea fluid
P2BAD Depollution of the deNOx system
U1000 Engine management ECU
P2200 NOx sensor
P0215 Fuel cicuit cut-off solenoid valve
P06DF Pre-post heat unit
and many more . . .

It has also randomly flagged codes/errors for adblue level low (its not), engine temp (shoots to top for a few seconds), camshaft sensor, injector and more. It has twice randomly flagged up a ABS/ESP error on the dash.

So far we have done the following:

1/ Full visual inspection of the wiring/loom (even on a ramp)
2/ Replaced the deNOx sensor (no difference)
3/ Replaced the main ECU (no difference)
4/ Added earth straps engine-to-body and battery-to-body (no difference)

We can not get an MOT until this is resolved. The van drives and runs fine and the issues started before we started the conversion.

The company who supplied the ECU have been superb and suggest it is a CAN network issue as all the issues are present on the network. But where to start? :bang: Find wall? Apply head?

On a "Global Test" in Diagbox it also shows communication errors with the Audio/Navigation/TM, Instrument Panel, Parking Assistance and Airbags and Pre-tensioner control unit. However all these work fine and only show this message during the Global test so it MAY be normal as I have seen this on other cars and may be the type of cable/connector I am using. Who knows?

Any help is greatly appreciated as we are running out of options. We have considered taking the engine out and converting it into a caravan.

Thanks in advance.

Mick
