My 2014 Relay (which I am told is really a Ducato) keeps telling me both the left and the right indicators bulbs are faulty. All bulbs are fine and have been replaced just in case. I have soldered an extra earth wires from the earth strip inside the rear lights straight to the earth point but to no avail.

Any other earths to check? Any ideas would be much appreciated....

I had the same problem with my 2014 ducato motorhome and with the help from some great guys on this forum fixed it ,just one side was initially last year but the other side went this year just as I was going for an MOT but did not fail as they said as it worked correctly despite the warning light it was ok so I have since sorted it . I wired it into the circuit in the repeater in the mirrors only a five minute job. get back to me if I can help further.

Hi Brian,

Unfortunately I never did have time to fix it and just ignored it in the end because the indicator bulbs all work.

I am back to worrying about the van because it is now also reporting a failed right rear ABS sensor, I changed the sensor and just like the bulbs the van still claims it is faulty.

Not sure if we have 2 faults or if the van has a common ECU/wiring issue the is generating false failure notices. What connectors did you clean underneath the van?

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks all....

yes my bulbs were working ok. I can assure you if you do as i have advised it will sort your indicator problem your brake problem has nothing to do with the indicator warning

For the benefit of anyone that finds this thread and is pulling their hair out like I was, the mirror indicator bulbs are NOT 5w (WY5W) they are the bigger 16w (WY16W) and on Citroen vehicles at least the Body Computer is programmed to monitor them. I have seen people post that the Ducato doesn't complain but I guess it comes down to which program is loaded onto the Body Computer.

Good luck all......
