I'm getting the "Check Glow Plugs" message again but only when the engine is at RUNNING TEMPERATURE. Has anyone had their plugs changed and what is the average cost.

Don't know about the cost etc. I have always changed my own. Also it will depend on how easy they undo.:)
Obviously you need to mention what model and engine Series Number etc. to get advice.
Just a small point, as it happens when engine at running temp. is it possible the ECU is trying to invoke a Regen to clean the DPF as some models use glow plugs during that cycle?

Hi, What reading should I expect to see on each plug. Cold or Hot.

Need more details as I mentioned before.
Most modern heater plug systems supply individual power to each plug from the relay, so when a diagnostic tool is used it can say which one is failing etc.
If you are testing a heater plug with engine off with terminals disconnected a simply continuity test using an Ohm meter setting on multimeter will do that.
Personally I like to know what the recommended voltage of the heater plug is, some are 12 volts some are 4.4volts so easy to mess up if not certain.
I also use an Amp meter in series and expect a reading of around 8 amps when live.
If you are not sure what you are doing then best left alone.;)

On mine it was 1.2ohms per plug, measured at the glow plug relay to exclude wiring faults. The broken one measured 0.6 ohms.

Plugs were £11 each, had to drop the inlet manifold off to change them.

I did just change 1 but a few months later, another went so I would get all 4 changed.

These days with all the hassle to get at them to fit, it makes good sense to fit the set.:)
On the 2010 Fiat Scudo 2.0 litre I had, I hoped it was the relay, but on testing it proved to be the heater plugs and this involved working at the back of the engine against the bulkhead removing the egr cooler etc. I used a endoscope camera I had luckily recently bought.:)

I accidentally broke a fuel pipe dropping the manifold, looks like I got away lightly. :)
