It's been quite a while since I last posted but I need some help please.
My 2013 1.2L Pop manual is in the workshop - long story short - it needs a new gearbox.
The workshop can't source a used manual box. All that the wreckers have are automatics.
This is a long shot but... as the Dualogic is a robotised single-clutch manual - would the gearbox actually be the same as the manual box, but just with an automated clutch mechanism bolted on? And so could it be substituted in (obviously retaining the manual clutch mechanisms in my car)?

My options are slim - it's either an expensive gearbox recondition or the car is off to the wreckers which would be shame - just 60,000kms, owned from new, well maintained and such a fun city car.
I'm based in Australia so while there's plenty of 500s around, it's not like Europe where they're probably way more common - hence parts are harder to get and more expensive. Thanks for any help!
