Hi All,
i am wandering if anyone has repllaced the water pump on one of these vans, 2008 3.0 160hp fiat ducato.
If there is a video or a guide on how to remove and replace the pump, ideally as a DIYer. I only have basic tools, so if it needs to be on a ramp, then ill need to go in a garage.
What i think i know is: the waterpump is part of the main engine mount on the RH side of the engine( as sat in cab). That there is 3 bolts on the mount and then 5 bolts holding it to the engine. That before the mount is removed that the engine needs to be supported.... the hose clips are awkward to get to , same for the bolts AND the engine needs support.
BUt i would welcome any input, as it would be nice if i could do this task myself
