2006 fiat punto dynamic 1.2

Just wondering if anyone could help,my heater has stopped working it doest do nothing when I turn it on there's no powers at all no lights on the dials no noise it was working this morning on the school run got back had a cuppa and went back out to do some shopping and nothing I had the heat resister out and its a bit rusty could this be the problem

Failed resistor should still allow it to run at full speed.

Fuse OK?
