I thought the steering was originally vibrating on its own ?

It was moving side to side by itself then it went dead, then it was intermittent, then dead

No, I had been using it for 2 weeks after I had fixed the ignition and it had only sat for about 5 days when I decided to take it out a run and the steering went faulty.

Nope, I put electrical contact cleaner on the plug insert for the torque sensor and let it sit for 20 minutes before I inserted the plug, and made sure all other connections were in, firmly. Power steering light comes on even on key position 2, without engine on (light is visible, then goes away for a few seconds then can hear the relay and the steering fault light comes back).

Immo flash and stay on

Is the clock keeping the time or flashing

On cranking do the oil and battery stay off until the engine fires

Yes, the usual initial light sequence occurs then the steering light comes back and stays on. Same thing happens when engine is on.

I'm at the unit just now doing some tidying up, I will check battery resting voltage but I have already checked Alternator and I've charged this battery up (goes from "charging" to "charged" within 10 minutes.

Check the voltage drop, during cranking

Hi koaler success someone had insulated the small thread that fits inside the battery tray with tape presumably to stop it rusting I took the tape off so I could get the bolt off then the gauge instantly went to 3/4 so thanks for your help
