2002 fiat punto sat nav system suddenly stopped after changing the battery

Hi,

I recently just changed the battery on my 2002 punto hgt and now when stating the car the sat nav system is asking for a code but when trying to put the code in it is not allowing me to select the correct numbers also after a few sconds there is a very loud horn sound please help ASAP!

Would like to help, but my Punto isn't posh enough for Sat Nav!
Just a thought, but do you have any instruction book on the system? As you say you have what is presumably the correct code, is there any form of reset button?

Well there is a rest button but I need to enter this code to get into the full menu lol
