Hi all,

I'm here for my sister who's just bought a 2002 Doblo.
She has one key that she's using manually but is saying she can only use it on the drivers side. The boot is near impossible to open, and the key just spins inside. And she's opening everything else from inside the car.
The seller never mentioned any of this and she didn't check.

The question is, did central locking exist in 2002 (I have a 2006 LDV with central locking so I'm guessing it did!!)?
And, if it did, is it possible that the central locking has been disabled and the seller never gave her the fob? If so, how might she get this fixed?

Thanks so much!

A-ha!

Thank you! So if it exists in there, might there be a REMOTE central locking box located somewhere? Would the fuses be in the normal fuse box or somewhere else?
So you would be able to hear something (a click) if she put the key in the drivers door do you think?

Many thanks!

Easiest way to tell if your car has the remote key facility fitted is to phone the dealer for a price for one.
They will either give you a price or tell you the vehicle wasn't built with that facility
