Technical 2001 multipla jtd engine light problem

hi all, hope im posting in the right place, i have a few faults/problems with my car and dont have a clue how fix them or even where to look .
the problems are when i get to 3500 rpm or i am towing the engine light comes on but if i pull over and leave the car off for a few minutes then start it and drive off and high rev the car the light goes off. my first thought was injectors are bunged up so i put some cleaner in but that did nothing,could it be a air filter problem?
the other problem is the plug light goes off like normal but when i move the car it starts to flash for about a minute,this started a long time after the engine light problem and again i have no clue what the fault is.

my only suggestion would be to get it scanned on a diagnostics machine, or maybe someone on here near too you will scan it a bit cheaper than a garage. does the temperature gauge seem any higher than normal when towing.

i was goin to get it on a diagnostics but the light isnt always on so wasnt sure as i thought it might not give the right fault.
when im towing the light comes on but no temperature problems

it sounds as though to track this fault you need someone with a portable diagnostic to scan it at the time the light comes on however every time the light comes on the code is stored in the library so should be easy to retrieve, i dont know what could be causing this without scanning it though sorry

i have now the same problem with my multipla.
when i go over 3500rpm the engine light turns on. :bang:
have u found the problem now?
