I rather liked the reviews on Cepsa Motor Oil which is now part of Total as it happens.

Good afternoon.
CEPSA AVANT 10W40 SYNT is a semi-synthetic oil. We do not have a 100% synthetic oil with a 10W40 viscosity grade.
This product, or even better CEPSA XTAR 10W40 SYNTHETIC, are both the recommend oils for your vehicle and they can reach, in a normal use, an average of 30000 Km.

So, averaging 10.000 kms a year an oil change every two years would not be imprudent!
