Hi All

Following on from a recent problematic post, I have a 15A fuse that keep blowing on me. It's in the fuse panel under the air intake, at the bottom of the battery.

Can anyone give me a clue to what the fuses are all for? This should help with identifying the source of the problem.

From memory, I have 2x15A, (although I think one should be a 10A, as the slot it fits into is red), and the other is 20A, (possibly 25A)

The Fiat manual I have doesn't really give me much help.
I am getting the impression that one is a CODE fuse, one for the ABS, and the other possible headlight washer. Please confirm I you can.

Also - as the one of the 15As is blowing, my guess is that it is the CODE fuse, as when it blow, the car won't start. Incidently, does this immobilise the injectors, or the ignition..or a variety of things?

Many thanks as usual guys, I'm really struggling with this!! :bang:

the immob cuts the earth on the fuel pump.

when the fuse is removed check if the key code light remains lit on the dash when you try to start the engine, if it does it means you're playing with the immob fuse.

Thanks for that Jug
I've just had look, and it turns out that when the fuse is in, the CODE light comes on, and the pump primes.
No fuse = no CODE light, and no priming.

Needless to say, I'm worried about why the fuse continues to blow. But if I need a quick fix to stop the car from cutting out (heaven forbid when trying to power out onto a roundabout or similar), I should earth the fuel pump?
