General 2.0 20v mpg - good or average

Hello ff ,over the last few weeks iv received great advice from you, this has been my 1st non-stop journey since resetting the Mareas system , i drove non-stop to /from gatwick airport last night a total of 130miles ,my speed was 65-75mph, the tank was full (tesco's 5p a litre off!!) and the fuel gague needle is sitting on the 1st line away from full , so 1/6th of a tank used to drive 130 miles-can someone say if this is good or not please,im quite chuffed at it to say the least, any/all input much appreciated , thanks.

You need to fill the tank again and see how much it takes then you can work out how much you used in the 130 miles.

As the petrol dial on the Marea is strange on a full tank I can get 430 miles but nearly 300 before the needle is halfway down.

As said before you need to run off a good few miles and refill the tank. The Marea has a very non-linear fuel gauge. I drove back once from Derby, filled up before joining the M1 and still had the needle on full when Io dropped my passenger in Chesham. I managed the same trick from Cheltenham to here once as well. However once it gets down tp 1/2 full it really starts moving
