Technical 16v & 8v throttle body the same?

Hey. I'm currently looking for bored out throttle bodies.
Now someone with a 16v sporting has a bigger throttle body, would it fit on my car. I'm guessing not though?!

Anything can be made fit.

what size is this throttle body they have? I know the maera 1.6 16v TB is a bolt for bolt upgrade to around 48mm on the mk1 sporting manifold.

what spec is your punto? You were asking for 40mm TBs so i'm going to assume it's a 55/60 SPI. You can fit the 75 TB with some faffing;

the 16v TB does not have an injector in it, so you'd have to fab some way of mouting that. and it mounts differently.
