Hi,
I've got a 1242 16v engine that I'm putting in a Panda.
I'll be gasket/port matching the inlet manifold and fitting a tubular exhaust manifold.
There is actually quite a lot of material that you can remove from the inlet side of the cylinder head, about 2-3 mm around each inlet port - as the port is smaller than the gasket.
Has anybody got any tips for doing this?
Also I'll be porting the inlet manifold so could do with some tips on the tools to remove all the rough edges inside and 'danglies' from when it was cast.
ooh anybody got any ideas on the best place to get a performance manifold? Stainless manifolds are expensive
PM me if you have one for sale
I'll get some pics up tonight of the gasket vs. the inlet ports incase there are other peeps who want to try it out.
