General Upgrades

I have a 2002 mk2 punto and was wondering if theres anything i can change which will make it that little bit faster as selling and upgrading is currently out of the picture.

Can people post links to items which they recommend and other general upgrades I could do, both interior and exterior cosmetics are welcome as well as engine upgrades.

Can anyone also recommend where I could get leather seats or seat covers?

For a start what engine do you have as this will negate exactly what you could do ,but usually faster car is best option ,but I've been there ,

Most bolt on add noise ,
Mods don't do alot without mapping
Maps or flashes cost a chunk ,

Diesels have good unreserved power,
Petrol options for a mk2 ,limited!

I've just fitted some FK coilovers to my Punto and the ride is now so good, would thoroughly recommend them. Not just for the lowering effect but the shocks and springs just soak up the potholes now.

My favourite upgrade is actually my autodimming rear view mirror. Got a Fiat 500 mirror of the bay and wired it to an ignition power source and the reverse signal and I swear it is so useful not getting blinded by the newer cars led lights.

On the subject of led lights I fitted some I picked up from Halfords and the increased amount of proper white light has changed how driving at night in the winter feels.
